Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancelling a plan works, when a payment can be refunded, what happens to Azno Coins, and how to ask. Plain language, no surprises.

The short version

  • The finance app is free. You only ever pay for the Azno Advisor, through a monthly plan or a coin pack.
  • Cancel any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and then stops. No fees, no questions, no waiting for a reply.
  • First subscription payment: 14-day money-back. If Azno is not for you, ask within 14 days of your first plan charge and, provided the coins from that charge are essentially unused, it is refunded in full.
  • Coin packs are final once the coins are credited — they are digital content delivered immediately and you ask for that when you buy. If something went wrong with the delivery, we fix it or refund it.
  • Coins you paid for stay yours. Cancelling a plan does not take away coins from months already paid; they never expire and keep working for as long as your account exists.
  • Mistaken or duplicate charges are refunded in full, always.

Cancelling a plan

Go to Settings → Billing and open the billing portal, or write to us. The subscription stops renewing immediately; the Advisor stays available until the end of the current billing period, and the monthly coins already granted for that period are yours to use. We do not refund the remaining days of a period once it has started, except where the law in your country requires it.

Switching plans starts the new plan at checkout; cancel the old one from the billing portal if it does not happen automatically, and tell us if you were charged twice — that is refunded.

Refund of the first subscription charge

Within 14 days of the first payment for a plan on your account you can ask for that payment back. We grant it when fewer than 1,000 of the coins that charge added (one US dollar of Advisor usage) have been spent — enough to try the Advisor properly, not enough to have used the month. The refund cancels the plan, and the unused coins from that charge are removed. Later renewals are not refundable, because you can cancel at any time before they happen.

Coin packs

A coin pack is digital content: the coins are credited to your balance as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, and you can spend them the same minute. When you buy a pack you ask for it to be delivered immediately and you acknowledge that, once the coins are credited, the purchase can no longer be withdrawn or refunded — this is the standard exception for digital content delivered with the buyer's consent, and the store says so next to the button. If the coins were charged but never credited, we credit them or refund the charge, whichever you prefer.

What coins are

Azno Coins are a unit of Advisor usage inside Azno (1,000 coins equal one US dollar of usage). They have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account or paid out, and cannot be converted back into money except through the refunds described on this page. They never expire. When an account is deleted, its coins are gone with it.

Errors, outages and disputes

If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or paid for something that did not work because of us, write and we will put it right — a refund, a credit of coins, or both. If the Advisor is unavailable for an extended period during a paid month, we extend or credit that month. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank: chargebacks cost everyone, and an account with an open chargeback has its Advisor paused until it is resolved.

How to ask

Email hello@azno.app from the address on your account, say which charge you mean (the date and amount, or the Stripe receipt number), and what you would like. We answer within 5 working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in; we cannot control exchange-rate differences applied by your bank.

Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies. This policy is part of the Terms of Service; the Privacy Policy explains what we keep about a payment (the Stripe ids and the receipt, never a card number).
